Más allá de Gossip Girl y Sexo en Nueva York, existen muchísimos programas de televisión donde la Moda ,como tal, es el verdadero protagonista. De cuando en cuando, me gustaría mostraros algunos de mis favoritos ( junto con películas y libros) para que tengáis una "Fashion Night In" de lo más fashionista. Y aunque la gran Anna Wintour considere que los realities de moda distorsionan la realidad de la industria, no por ello dejan de divertirnos.

Hace unos días os enseñé algunos de los detalles de este outfit, pero todavía os debía el look entero. El tema sigue siendo el mismo, los tonos metálicos. Normalmente, este tipo de tonos no suelen ver la luz del sol y se reservan para la noche, pero creo que pueden sen fáciles de adaptar al día a día mezclándolos con tonos neutros, un maquillaje sencillo, complementos minimalistas o prendas "utilitarias" como una parka o algo de denim. Claro que para este propósito unas bailarinas o botas moteras pueden ser preferibles a botines de tacón, pero ya os he hablado de lo mucho que me gusta el par que llevo puesto en las fotos!

Some days ago I show you some of the accessories I was pairing up with this outfit, but I totally forgot to share the whole look with you!. Metallics are usually seen as party wear , but I do think that mixing metallic pieces with neutral tones, simple make-up, minimalistic accessories or an utilitarian garment such as a parka or some denim you can totally wear them during day-light. You may prefer accessorizing them with lower heels though, but I have already confessed my absolute love for this pair of booties!

Puede que ya sepáis que esta temporada todo va de brillos y tonos metalizados, aquí tenéis un pequeño adelanto de mi último outfit. Las cuñas son de H&M, de la temporada de otoño invierno 10', antes las llamaba mis cuñas ladygaga-escas pero gracias al calzado fetiche (click, click, click) de está temporada ( gracias Miuccia!) lo he cambiado por miumiu-escas. La verdad es que no pensaba rentabilizarlas tanto, cuando las compré no me parecieron tan ponibles, pero son extremadamente cómodas!

I'm sure you have noticed that this season everything is about glitter and metallics, here you have some of the details of my latest outfit. The wedge booties are H&M from AW10' collection; I used to call them my gagalicious heels but since this season's fetish shoe (click, click, click) was revealed (Thank you Miuccia!) I changed it to miumiu-esque. The truth is that when I bought this booties I never expected to wear them so much, but they turn out to be one of the comfiest pair of heels I own!

P.D: ¿Algun@ se ha pasado por H&M hoy?¿Qué os a parecido la colaboración de Versace con H&M? Tenía intención de ir a la mañana, pero la profesionalidad ha ganado la batalla al consumismo. Tampoco es que las imágenes de las prendas me emocionaran, pero probablemente me pase a echar un vistazo mañana, con estas cosas, hasta que veas la ropa en persona, nunca se sabe!

Parece que el próximo verano no habrá armario que se precie sin estampados. Loewe, Alexander McQueen, Burberry, Kenzo, Stella McCartney, Rodarte y un largo etcétera de firmas han optado por el print, ya sea geométrico, floral, animal o abstracto. Aunque soy más minimalista que amante del estampado, no puedo dejar de pensar que son piezas que hacen de cualquier estilismo algo mucho más personal y único. Mis favoritos, los estampados "florales" de Prabal Gurung inspirados en la serie fotográfica "Sensual Flower" del artista Nobuyoshi Araki. ¿Qué os parece a vosotr@s el mundo print?
It seems that next summer prints will be everywhere. Loewe, Alexander McQueen, Burberry, Kenzo, Stella McCartney, Rodarte and so on have given us lots of patterns in their runaway shows, whether its geometrical, animal, floral or abstract. I'm more of a minimalism lover than print lover but I can't help to think they are a must have statement piece in every closet. Prabal Gurung's "flowery print" inspired by Nobuyoshi Araki's "Sensual Flower" photographic series is my absolute favourite + I love violet. What are your feelings on prints?

Hoy me siento especialmente inspirada por los diseños de los participantes en los Inspiration Awards de la firma de ropa íntima Triumph, me recuerda a todo el talento y creatividad que hay en el mundo. ( Aunque estoy segura de que el tándem Lily Cole + Ellen Von Uther, tiene bastante que ver)
Ya se que he sido una blogger terrible últimamente, pero esta siendo bastante difícil actualizar el blog de manera más o menos regular...No es que quiera aburriros con mis quejas, este blog es algo que no me supone ningún esfuerzo o obligación, disfruto muchísimo escribiendo y compartiendo mi afición por la moda y me siento muy agradecida por todos aquell@s que me visitáis, leéis y/o seguís.
Today I'm inspired by this lingerie pieces designed by the contestants of Triumph's Inspiration Awards, modelled by Lily Cole and shot by Ellen Von Uther, they make me realize how much unspoiled talent the world is full of.

Anyway I've been such a bad blogger lately but as much as I love writing, taking photos and searching for inspiration it has been kind of hard keeping up with the blog and my work-life this past months...Not that I'm going to quit the blog or anything, it's something I do for my own amusement and I'm really really grateful to those who visit, read and follow it.

+ Otra de las cosas que cada día me gustan más son las prendas des-estructuradas sobre todo camisas y tops con tirantes imposibles y cut-outs. Son pequeños detalles que hacen especiales los básicos más esenciales de cualquier armario que se precie. Con un poco de suerte encontraré algo parecido en rebajas...

+ De-structured tops and shirts with impossible straps and cut-outs have been one of my latest obsessions, I feel they're the design element that make basic pieces special and modern. Hope I'm lucky enough and find something similar in the sales.

No se si alguna vez he declarado mi total adoración por las creaciones de Riccardo Tisci. Aunque es un couturier magnífico, sus colecciones prêt-à-porter son igualmente geniales Me encantaron los estampados "animalísticos" de la colección Otoño-Invierno 2011 de Givenchy tanto de mujer como de hombre, todo ello aderezado con sugerentes transparencias y siluetas ladylike. Por eso estoy tan contenta de que el estampado animal trascienda la pasarela y se este convirtiendo en tendencia de cara a la temporada que viene, Zara y Topshop ya tienen sus propias versiones y seguro que pronto poblarán también las estanterías de otras tiendas.

I don't know if I have ever declared my absolute love for everything Riccardo Tisci does. He's a magnificent couturier but he does amazing prêt-à-porter too. I specially loved the savage mood of the animalistic prints used in both men and women Fall 2001 collections mixed with lost of sheer and ladylike silhouettes. That's why I'm so happy that animal prints are taking over high street stores and becoming a trend, Zara and Topshop have already made they own versions , who will be next?

¡Por fin! He terminado con los exámenes y espero no tener que desatender mis obligaciones de blogger de esta manera otra vez. Y para redimirme, os dejo un look dominguero con mis últimas adquisiciones: unos shorts azul pastel de Oysho ( muy Clhoé Primavera-Verano 2009, ¡llevo detrás de unos parecidos desde entonces!) y estas sandalias de Bershka con un toque Jeffrey Campbell-ero aunque con algo menos de plataforma. La verdad es que hacía un calor del mal, pero como estaba muy muy nublado decidí llevarme mi gabardina que por estas latitudes nunca se sabe. (¡Seguro que las chicarron@s del norte me entienden!). Por cierto, si no lo habeís hecho aún os recomiendo que veaís el reality de Alaska y su marido Mario Vaquerizo, es genial, ya era fan de Alaska pero ahora me declaro fan absoluta de Mario Vaquerizo, sus cazadoras Balmain y su dieta de las cortezas. Para terminar, también quería enseñaros mi carterita/clutch-plátano. ( Me encanta, desde luego, esta a la altura del de Charlotte Olympia.)

Finally! Exams are over, and I'm back ( I really hope I don't have to quit blogging temporally again!). And to redeem myself from my unprofessional blogger behaviour, here you have what I wore last Sunday: my new Oysho blue pastel scalloped shorts ( very Clhoé SS09, I've been coveting similar ones since them!) and Jeffrey Campbell-ish Bershka sandals. It was really hot, but as the sky was pretty cloudy I couldn't risk it without a trench ( the weather here can be so variable!). Last but not least, I wanted to show you my banana-clutch. (Even Charlotte Olympia would be proud!)

¡Por fin sin medias! Aquí tenéis los "tailored shorts" o " de sastre" que os enseñé el otro día. No hay duda que los colores llamativos son la tendencia imperante esta temporada junto con el total white, pero esta vez me apetecía lucir un look más sobrio, minimalista y urbano. ¿Y qué hay más elegante/efectivo/minimal que el tándem blanco y negro? Para completar el look e Inspirada por las pasarelas veraniegas me decidí por llevar uñas+pintalabios fucsia, otro must de esta temporada.

¡At last sans tights! Here you have the tailored shorts I showed you last time. There's no doubt that bright colours are this season's biggest trend but I was looking for a more urban, minimalist, 90's vibe this time. ¿And, what is more minimal/elegant/effective than the black&white combo? ( You can't go wrong with it!) To complete the ensemble I just added some runaway inspired make-up: fuchsia lipstick+nail polish.

Bueno este el resultado de hacer de "The Coveteur" con mis últimas adquisiciones, aunque por mucho que lo desee mi armario no sea ni el de Joanna Hillman ni el de Harley Viera Newton! Prometo un outfit post como Dios manda con ellas tan pronto como pueda para que las veáis en acción.

Well, here you have my attempt to show you my latest purchases in a classy "The Coveteur"-ish way. Even though my wardrobe is not Joanna Hillman's or Harley Viera Newton's I hope you like the outcome. I'm making a propper outfit post with them as soon as possible!

I. Gafas de sol efecto carey a medio caballo entre el clásico modelo Wayfarer de Ray-Ban y gafas redondas al más puro estilo John Lennon. H&M 5,95€

II. Un imprescindible esta temporada, perfecto sustituto de rouge: pintalabios fucsia. Me encanta este color, me recuerda tanto al verano! Este es el "Il Rosetto" de la marca italiana Deborah en el color 530, 6,60€

Bagology III:Mini Mes

Este es el último post sobre mis tendencias favoritas de las fashion weeks más recientes en materia de bolsos : los mini yos! ¿Y qué es exactamente un mini yo? Pues nada más y nada menos que las versiones en miniatura de los bolsos más insignes como el Birkin y el Kelly de Hermès, el Lulggagge Bag Céline o de Vitello Lux de Miu Miu. A mi me parecen una monada, eso si , el móvil , una tarjeta de crédito y el abono transporte son los únicos elementos que pueden caber dignamente en tan poco espacio. La alternativa low-cost nos la trae Zara (¡cómo no!) con un mini bowler bag extraordinariamente parecido al Speedy de Sofia Coppola para Louis Vouitton.

H&M Overdose

Si hace unas semanas hablábamos de la Concious Collection y hace unos días de la Fashion Against Aids Collection, ahora H&M vuelve a estimular nuestro espíritu consumista con la High Summer Collection plagada de inspiración Gucciesca, Jil Sander-era, y cómo no, de color! Aunque lo que he visto hasta el momento no me apasiona especialmente, tengo que confesar que me enamorado de los bañadores y de la americana azul... La colección estará disponible a partir del 1 de Abril.

Y siguiendo con las firmas low-cost Mango ha emitido hoy el primero de los capítulos de una especie de serie-telerrealidad muy similar a The Hills donde aunque las interpretaciones y el guión dejan mucho que desear los estilismos son remarcables. ( Un vídeo promocional no deja de ser un vídeo promocional por mucho que lo enmascares de serie...) Podéis verlo aquí.

Por último, no querría despedirme sin recomendaros dos post de Fashionisma.es escritos por Ariadna Ferret sobre el culebrón Galliano-Dior: Por qué todavía no hay sustituto de Galliano (oficial) en Dior y Una época de crisis y de Zaras. Some weeks ago we talk about the Conscious Collection, some days ago about Fashion Against Aids Collection and this week H&M does it again and encourages our inner materialist with the High Summer Collection full of Gucci-esque, Jil Sander-esque inspiration and colour! ( What else?). Although I didn't love every item of the collection, the swimwear and the blue blazer are just amazing...Hitting stores April 1.

Last but not least I wanted to show you Mango's new The Hills style reality-series, although the script and the acting are pretty awful the styling is superb. You can watch it here.

"Nunca hay que escuchar a las flores. Hay que mirarlas y aspirar su aroma" así sentencia Antoine de Saint-Exupery en El Principito, sin duda, uno de mis libros favoritos! Podéis tacharme de ñoña o naif, pero de vez en cuando siempre rescato mi viejo ejemplar (más viejo incluso que su dueña!) y lo releo para recodar lo que es verdaderamente esencial y lo que no lo es tanto. Volviendo a lo terrenal y ciertamente a cosas no tan importantes, os he querido presentar mi última adquisición un vestido azul cielo estampado de H&M con un toque algo infantil, me recuerda a aquellos vestiditos que me solía poner mi madre con bailarinas y lacito a juego. En esta ocasión, cómo ya estoy algo más crecidita, lo he combinado con mis botines de Mango y un trench de Zara, algo más apropiado para mi edad pero sin perder ese toque preppy!

You may think I'm a little naif, but I do still reread my old copy (even older than its owner!) from time to time as a self-reminder of what really is important and what's not. Back to earthly and unimportant matters, I wanted to introduce you my new dress. I really like the pale blue colour and the flowery print, it reminds me to the dresses I used to wear as a kid paired up with matching bows and ballerinas. This time, since I grew up a little, I mixed the dress with my Mango boots and a nice trench from Zara, certainly more age-appropriate but without loosing the preppy-girly vibe!

¿Recordáis las famosas bolsas de tela para hacer la compra que Anya Hindmarch diseñó allá por el 2007? ¿Aquellas que decían "I'm not a plastic bag" y que tanto éxito tuvieron entre las celebrities? Pues bien, 3 años después vuelve el reinado de los plásticos en su versión más lujosa; bolsos transparentes o de vivos colores se han convertido en el pan nuestro de cada día entre los profesionales de la moda y bloggers. Los más representativos de esta moda plastiquera son el Acetate Market Bag de Jil Stuart y los Candy bags de Furla, ambos bastante asequibles por cierto! (Unos 170€ cada uno). Existen también, cómo no, versiones low-cost de los plastic bags, como las bolsas y carteritas que H&M lanzará el próximo 26 de Abril con su Fashion Against Aids Collection anual.

Una vez más en vaqueros y llevando mi adorado abrigo de piel vintage! Algo repetitivo, lo sé, pero aunque salga el sol las mañanas siguen siendo algo frescas...Por otro lado, no puedo dejar de hablar de la que sin duda ha sido mi mejor adquisición de la pasada temporada rebajil: los codiciados botines Paris de Mango. Super cómodos y versátiles, en Mango Outlet queda algún par suelto aún en beige clarito, lástima que no sean mi número...

Iuju! El blog ya ha hecho un año, bastante sorprendente teniendo en cuenta lo inconstante que suelo ser en determinados aspectos, y simplemente quería agradeceros el hecho de que me sigáis y visitéis. Esta vez, os traigo mi visión de como añadir esos toques de color que tan de moda están esta temporada cuando el tiempo no acompaña: una falda con vuelo, plisada y naranja + una parka abrigadita para restarle formalidad al conjunto + T-shirt básica. ¿La otra nota indispensable de color? Un clutch azul klein y la portada de este mes de Vogue Spain.

Cuando no es la vida universitaria son problemas técnicos, parece que el cosmos confabule contra mi actividad bloguera! Pero bueno, excusas aparte, aquí me tenéis de nuevo hasta que mi ordenador vuelva a prohibírmelo...Estoy segura de que no seréis ajen@s a todo el ajetreo que se ha vivido estos días en el mundillo de la moda (y no, no me refiero al arresto del sin par John Galliano días antes de su próximo desfile por una reyerta en la terraza de un parisino cafe donde se cruzaron improperios de todos los colores), y es que entre las Fashion Weeks de New York, Londres, Milan, Paris y Madrid esto está que arde!Sin embargo, una vez más, parece que el espectáculo de la moda se encuentre más en la calle que en las propias pasarelas...
Esta vez, he de confesaros que me he fijado especialmente en los bolsos de las fashion insiders más ilustres, probablemente por que llevo tiempo detrás de alguno nuevo que complete mi pequeña colección y por que EL BOLSO es algo vital en la vida de cualquier mujer y cada vez más hombres. LLamadme exagerada, pero creo que los bolsos y su contenido pueden decir más sobre una persona que cualquier otra prenda, si somos prudentes ( yo tengo la manía de llevar casi siempre minibotiquín...), coquetos, organizados, creativos, clásicos, adictos al trabajo, etc. Bueno dejando a un lado mis dudosas teorías, os dejo la primera de las tendencias que me ha llamado la antención: los bolsos azules...( Sobre todo si son de Celine, Prada o Burberry, aunque sin desmerecer la propuesta de Amancio que no es nuevo en esto de las tendencias!)

Christian Dior escribió una vez que el rojo es el color de la vida y la historia no le lleva la contraria. Desde tiempos inmemoriales el rojo ha representado la belleza, el sacrificio y el amor, podría atreverme a decir que el rojo es el COLOR con mayúsculas! Por esto y simplemente por que me encanta, llevaba bastante tiempo intentando hacerme con unos pantalones rojos, pero en ninguna de mis incursiones consumistas había dado con el par perfecto...Cuando vi estos en Zara fue un flechazo en toda regla (hay que ver el apego que le tengo a la ropa! ) y aunque me declare anti-San Valentín, la verdad es que no creo que exista mejor ocasión que esta para mostrároslos!

H&M volverá a castigar a nuestras tarjetas de crédito el próximo 14 de Abril con una nueva colección cápsula repitiendo la experiencia del año pasado ( y modelo para la campaña, Natasha Poly) con la exitosa The Garden Collection.

La filosofía seguirá siendo la misma primando el uso de materiales reciclados y sostenibles sin renunciar a precios competitivos, aunque esta vez la temática y la estética serán diferentes. Los estampados florales y los colores vivos ( por favor quien no se acuerda del antológico vestido rojo!) darán paso a la broderie anglaise y al blanco. Me gustan casi todas las prendas, pero os dejo una selección de mis favoritas ( espero que este año pueda llegar a tiempo y no me quede sin tallas!):

Un nuevo outfit post para retomar mi blogger-actividad!jaja Esta vez he decidido abordar el tema de las faldas maxi-midi-new length o cualquiera que sea el termino adecuado...Hacía un tiempo me enamoré de una de Zara, pero al final tuve una especie de revelación y me acordé de una que tenía en mi armario cogiendo polvo desde el 2007! Es algo veraniega o al menos yo la compré en verano, pero con un buen jersey de punto y unas medias tupiditas se soluciona todo. Además es plisada y algo transparente como mandan las leyes fashionistas más actuales!

I found and amazing skirt in Zara, but I actually had a similar one hidden in my wardrobe since 2007 so I finally decide to re-use it! Me encanta el trabajo que ha hecho Raf Simon en la última colección de Jil Sander. El tandem minimalismo-colores vivos me pareció una idea genial. A pesar de que siempre tiendo a vestir en colores bastante básicos, últimamente estoy sucumbiendo a los colores vivos como podréis recordar de mi anterior post!

Tras ver las fotos del desfile, me gustó tanto el minimalismo multicolor de Simon que quería trasladar de alguna manera su estética a mi armario, porque, siendo realistas, no me veía arrastrando una falda larguísima por los pasillos de mi universidad! Zara me ha facilitado mucho el trabajo con estos pantalones de su nueva colección, no podría elegir en que color me gustan más! De todas formas tendré que esperar a qué termine el periodo de exámenes la semana que viene ( por fin!) para ir de compras como Dios manda!

Raf Simon has done such an amazing work in the latest Jil Sander's spring collection, I really loved the combination between minimalism and bright colours. I always tend to wear basic colors, which I love!, but I'm kind of obsessing over ultra brigth colours lately as you may remenber from my last post!

Since I loved the brigth coloured minimalism so much, I really wanted to translate Simon's aesthetic to my wardrobe and Zara has made it pretty easy for me with this fab pants from the new collection, perfect fit, perfect colours! I can't really choose which colour to buy, anyway I will have to wait until the exam's term ends next week for a proper shopping spree!

No puedo actualizar el blog tanto como me gustaría en estos momentos, mis exámenes en la uni empiezan el lunes que viene, y me queda tanto por estudiar aún! También quería introducir algunos cambios en la barra lateral del blog para dar la bienvenida al nuevo año, pero tendré que esperar! Sé que puede resultar algo cansado leer mis quejas, pero sentía que os debía, mis apreciados lectores, una explicación!

Total, volviendo al tema que nos ocupa, me parece que las capas son uno de los recursos estilísticos más sanos para pasar el invierno sin caer en las garras de algún malicioso virus de la gripe. Me encantan sobre todo las chaquetas vaqueras + cualquier tipo de prenda algo más abrigada ( parkas, trench, chalecos de pelo,..)! Además la combinación es genial para esos días en los que , a pesar de que en la calle haga un frío que pela, pasemos gran parte de la jornada en algún interior cuya calefacción amenace, ella solita, con la existencia del Polo Norte y el Sur!

I can't really update as much as I would like to at the moment, as my uni exams are about to start next Monday and I have still pretty much to study! I also wanted to change a bit my sidebar for welcoming this new year, but it will have to wait! I know it must be kind of annoying reading my moans, but I felt like I totally owed you, my lovely reader, an explanation.

Back to the main point, layers are sans doubt a fashionable healthy habit to go through winter, I specially like the combination of denim jackets with any other kind of heavier coats/gilets/trench/parkas/capes! In fact, I find it quite practical for those days on which we spend the biggest part of the day in baking hot insides while it's freezing outside!

Unos días atrás estaba hojeando la web de Vogue Italia ( muy recomendable, por cierto!) y topé con un nombre que me sonaba y ya había leído en varios sitios: Paz de La Huerta. Movida por la curiosidad leí un artículo sobre ella y me enteré de que se trataba de una actriz estadounidense de origen español que participa en una serie llamada Broadwalk Empire. La serie, ambientada en la era de la prohibición o ley seca en Atlantic City, ciudad del juego y el divertimento para los estadounidenses de aquella época, está producida por el sin par Martin Scorsese y Mark Wahlberg entre otros! Total, que no tardé en buscar los medios para poder verla y no me arrepentí en absoluto. La serie es un cóctel adictivo de políticos corruptos, mafiosos, vodevil, movimientos sufragistas, sexo, religión, violencia, alcohol y perfiles psicológicos complejos que retratran los claro-oscuros de una época. Se trata ,sin duda, de una pequeña obra de arte: el guión, los actores, el vestuario, los decorados, la localización, todo funciona a la perfección...Me encantan sobre todo los vestidos de cóctel en los que se enfundan las protagonistas para ir al casino o las maravillosas batitas chinoiserie y lencería en general.

Some days ago while I was checking Vogue Italia's web page ( which I highly recommend to visit, by the way!), I came across with a name that rang my bell but whose owner I couldn't picture at all: Paz de la Huerta. Moved by curiosity, I rode the feature about her and that's the way I got to know about Broadwalk Empire American series. An addictive mixture of political corruption, religion, sex, gangsters, alcohol, vaudeville, violence,women's suffrage movement and complex psychological profiles that portrait the ups and the downs of the prohibition era in the U.S of the 20's and set in Atlantic City, America's playground . Produced by Martin Scorsese ( who directed the pilot episode) and Mark Wahlberg among others, each episode is a little piece of art: the script, photography, setting, cast, costumes...Everything works perfectly. I'm specially amazed by the beautiful cocktail dresses that the female cast wears to the casino partys and the delicate lingerie!

Me da algo de vergüenza postear un look tan simple, pero quería enseñaros el blazer con el que me hice hace un par de semanas (cuando todavía era otoño y la mitad norte del mundo no estaba congelado!). La temporada pasada quise hacerme con una americana en tonos nude, pero como prácticamente no pisé ninguna tienda no pude hacerme con una! Cuando vi el avance de la colección Primavera-Verano de H&M mi tarjeta de crédito empezó a temblar del miedo! Pero la cuestión es, que tras una pequeña incursión en uno de los establecimientos del gigante sueco, me encontré con este blazer color melocotón rebajado a 15€ y no pude resistirme a llevarlo a casa, me queda un par de tallas grandes pero como me encanta el efecto oversized no me importó demasiado!
Moraleja: nunca abandones una tienda H&M sin comprobar la ropa de saldo!
I'm really sorry because of the simplicity of this look, I just wanted to show you my new blazer which I bought a couple of weeks ago ( when it was still autumn and the half north of the world wasn't frozen yet!). I wanted to buy a nude toned blazer since last season, but because of all the travelling I wasn't able to do a proper shopping spree. When a saw this jacket from the upcoming H&M's Spring-Summer collection my credit card started to tremble! Anyway, the thing is that after a little incursion into one of the Swedish giant's shop I found this peachy toned blazer in the clearance area for 15€ and I had to bring it home. It's a 2 size bigger but I do love the oversized effect so I didn't care much about it!
Moral: never forget to check the clearance area before leaving H&M!

Con el frío que hace y las marcas más comerciales y no tan comerciales del mundo fashion ya nos han empezado a bombardear y ponernos los dientes largos con imágenes de sus campañas primaverales. Tras H&M, cuya campaña hemos podido ver en distintos lugares de la blogosfera, ahora le toca el turno a la marca anglosajona Primark o irlandesa Penney's, según como se mire...Me encantan los 3 primeros vestidos, sobre todo el segundo y también los satchel en miniatura con los que aparece la modelo...

Forever 21 ha abierto por fin su tieda europea online! Aunque los precios no están del todo mal, la verdad es que la oferta no es tan amplia como la de la tienda yanqui...Los gastos de envío son de 6€ para toda Europa exceptuando Gran Bretaña, que cuenta con su propia tienda y donde también han abierto tiendas físicas. Aquí os dejo una pequeña selección de lo que nos ofrece la firma americana:

Este es mi look semanal, me encanta esta chaqueta (no me la quito de encima!); la compre en Pull&Bear hace una semanas por unos 50€ y la verdad, es la mejor compra que hecho desde hace tiempo. No solo tiene un millón de posibilidades, si no que además abriga y es camel! Me encantan las tonalidades beige, camel y demás variaciones desde siempre, son ultra-combinables, así que me alegro de que este año se lleven tanto...

I REALLY love this coat, I bought it some weeks ago in Pull&Bear ( I think it was 50€) and I'm wearing it all the time. It has a million of possible combinations, is warm and is camel! I love beige, camel, earthy toned almost everything, so I'm happy this season has become a must..

Bueno este es el primer look que decido postear y , como seguro ya habréis adivinado, soy algo tímida...Se suponía que este puente el tiempo iba a ser torrencial pero la verdad es que el sábado hizo una temperatura bastante agradable y eso que más al norte no se puede vivir!! Tenía muchísimas ganas de volver al clásico tándem blanco y negro, por un lado por el mono que me entró tras descubrir a la genial Victoria Tonerbreg y por el otro porque pesar de que ambos colores me encantan, hace mucho que no me decidía por esta combinación...Para ultimar el look y darle un aire militar nada mejor que una parka y un bolso "AlexarderWang"-ero (soñar es libre!) con el que me hice hace un par de semanas...

Well this is the first look I've decided to post, I'm sure you have already guessed I'm a bit camera-shy...So this weekend the weather was supposed to be awful but the temperature on saturday was actually quite good. I have been willing to retake the black and white combination for such a long time, partly inspired by the looks of the amazing Victoria Tonerbreg and I was glad that I finally did...For finishing my look I threw on a parka and I grabbed my "AlexanderWang"-ish bag ( Ey, dreaming is free!) to get a military touch.

PS: I highly recommend the nail polish I'm wearing at the photos it's H&M's "French Kiss" tone, it cost me 2,95€ and although in the pictures can't be appreciated the color is the most beautiful iridescent burgundy.

Sombreros de fieltro, gorritos de lana o de piel sintética y turbantes...Este invierno contaremos con muchas opciones para proteger nuestras cabezas tanto del frío como de la lluvia, disimular esos días en los que nos despertamos con peores pelos que los de la bruja Lola y complementar nuestros outfits....Mi preferido esta temporada es, fruto de un arranque de fiebre tirolesa y afán de asistencia al Oktoberfest, el gorro tipo fedora de fieltro con plumas a un lado a modo de detalle...Muy folk y 70's, ya se ha hecho con su parcelita en tiendas como Zara y Stradivarius, aunque también me declaro fan acérrima de los clásicos gorritos de punto...

El estilo femenino y sofisticado, muy francés, de Elbaz estará al alcanze de nuestras manos el 23 de Octubre, aunque podremos ver imágenes de la colección el 2 de Octubre en la página web de la marca sueca.

No soy el tipo de persona que vive del pasado, pero si que creo que es necesario mirar al futuro sin olvidar qué nos trajo a este punto exacto en primer lugar, por lo que aunque la gente está hartándose ya de lo retro y es un poco démodé, no puedo evitar que me guste ver fotos antiguas de vez en cuando...Hace algunos días, encontré unas fotos geniales del street style de los 60 y 70 así que haré varios post sobre el tema. (¡Espero que no os resulte demasiado aburrido!)

I'm not the kind of person that lives in the past, but I do think we all should look forward without forgetting what brought us to this point, so although a lot of people is sick of it and it's a bit démodé I really like seeing old pictures to get some fashion inspiration. Creo que ya os hablé de lo mucho que me gusta este vestido de Mango, pues ya esta disponible en su tienda online por 99 €, es verdad que no es especialmente barato para un vestido pero tiene tantas posibilidades!

I think I've already told you about this Mango dress, the fact is that's available now at their online store for 99€, I know it isn't specially cheap for a dress but it has so many possibilities to combine and it works for so many occasions!

Además el otro día encontré este vestido de 3.1 Phillip Lim en Net-à-Porter que es idéntico al de Mango (a excepción del precio, claro está!).

Se que es algo tarde pero no puedo pasar la oportunidad de comentar los outfits que hemos podido ver en el festival de música Coachella, están repletos de ideas para el periodo estival.

No es la primera vez que H&M colabora junto con esta organización por la lucha contra el SIDA, pero la colección de este año es mucho más extensa que la de años anteriores que se limitaba a la venta de unas camisetas exclusivas diseñadas por celebrities. Sin embargo, este año se pondrán en venta muchas más prendas e incluso accesorios...Me encanta el aire festivalero que le han dado a todo, hasta venden sacos y tiendas de campaña por 14,95€ y 9,95€ respectivamente. La colección estará disponible en tiendas el 20 de mayo, esperemos que esta vez no hagan como con The Garden Collection y vayan trayendo ropa a cachitos antes del lanzamiento oficial...La colección tanto de chicas como de chicos se pondrá a la venta en la sección DIVIDED. Os dejo las fotos de la campaña protagonizada por Lou Dillon y Lizzie Jagger junto con alguna de mis prendas preferidas...

It's not the first time that H&M collaborates with FAA, but this year their collaboration seems more prolific than previous years where we could only purchase T-Shirts designed by celebrities, the clothing line will feature all kind of garments and accessories...I love the music festival touch that everything in the collection has, they even have designed sleeping bags and tents of 14,95€ and 9,95€ each. The collection will be launched the 20 May in the DIVIDED youth department, I just hope they won't do as with The Garden Collection and bring the collection gradually before the official release date. Here you have the campaign featuring Lou Dillon and Lizzie Jagger as well as some of my favourite pieces from the collection...

Las faldas largas han vuelto y parece que para quedarse. Tengo una falda que me llega un poco más abajo de las rodillas de hace un par de años y puede que la recupere para el verano...No se si esta tendencia tendrá éxito pero es innegable que que aportan carácter al cualquier look, desde el más grunge al boho...

Long skirts are back and it seems that they will stay for a while between us. I've one from a couple of years ago which fits me little longer than my knees and I'm going to re-use it for summer time...I don't if this trend will become successful but what's undeniable is that they give character to every look , from the most grunge ones to the most boho ones...

Tengo rondádome un DIY por la cabeza, y es que hace tiempo que quiero un jersey/suéter (ligeramente oversized) con un toque diferente como hombros con tachuelas o con encaje, bien como parte de la tela, bien emulando un cuello. Todavía no se si hacerlo o esperar a ver que encuentro por ahí, pero os dejo algunas de las ideas que he encontrado por internet...
I have a DIY project going round in my head lately...It's been some time from now that I want a jumper/sweater ( a little oversized) with an edgy touch like embellished/ studded shoulders or some lace ( insert or as if it was a collar). I don't know if I will finally carry DIY out or wait a little and buy it, anyway, here are some ideas that I found on the internet...
